Specialist Physiotherapy For The Elderly At Home | Expert Neurological Physiotherapy At Home
Getting the right care shouldn't mean struggling to travel when you're in pain, recovering from surgery, or managing a long-term condition. We come to you.
Our specialist physiotherapists and occupational therapists deliver expert, one-to-one treatment in the comfort of your own home or care home — tailored entirely to you, your goals, and your life.
We understand what it means to live with complex health challenges, the effects of ageing, and the fear of losing independence. That's why everything we do is built around helping you stay safe, confident, and in control of your own life.
Together, we set goals that matter to you — and we walk alongside you every step of the way.
We provide specialist home physio and OT visits for:
- Elderly physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- Neurological rehabilitation — including Parkinson's disease and stroke recovery
- Falls prevention and balance rehabilitation
- Recovering mobility, strength and confidence after a hospital stay
- Pre and post-operative care — including hip and knee replacements
- Back pain, joint pain, muscle pain and more
Our clinicians each hold specialist areas of expertise, and we carefully match every patient with the therapist best suited to their condition and needs. Whatever brings you to us, we go the extra mile to make sure you feel supported, motivated and genuinely cared for throughout your recovery.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our home physiotherapy & OT services
Absolutely not. Although we specialise in physiotherapy for seniors, and individuals with neurological conditions, as a team we can treat adults and children of all ages. This is due to the different specialities our physios hold.
We see anyone who would prefer to be treated at home rather than in a clinic.
Our therapists all have different areas of expertise and you will be matched with the therapist most suitable for your condition and circumstances.
For example, we have senior therapists specialising in stroke rehabilitation, FND & Parkinson's, and other senior therapists specialising in orthopaedic conditions such as hip or knee replacement, injuries or back pain.
On your initial phone call this will be discussed with you to ensure the therapist with the best expertise in your condition is matched to you.
Treatment frequency varies based on individual needs. Post-surgery or stroke patients may need 2–3 visits weekly initially, while those managing chronic conditions might benefit from weekly or fortnightly sessions.
Our physiotherapists assess each elderly patient's progress and adjust visit frequency accordingly, always focusing on achieving optimal independence and quality of life.
Treatment frequency entirely depends on individual needs and circumstances which will be discussed on the initial visit.
Yes, physiotherapy at home for the elderly has been proven to significantly reduce the risk of falls.
Our HCPC-registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists complete a multi-factorial falls risk assessment during your home visit, including assessment of balance, strength, mobility and home environment.
Tailored exercises and a treatment plan is then provided to improve stability, muscle strength, coordination, balance and mobility based on individual findings.
We can also recommend home adaptations, equipment and teach safe transfer methods.
Many private health insurance policies cover home physiotherapy, particularly for post-operative and neurological rehabilitation. We recommend checking your specific policy details. We work with solicitors and case managers. Please discuss with us prior to your first appointment if you wish to claim on your insurance.
Physiotherapy often focuses on exercise prescription, manual therapy, and hands-on techniques aiming to improve movement, function, balance, flexibility and strength.
Occupational therapy addresses functional ability and movement, lifestyle management, cognitive rehabilitation, equipment, activities of daily living, anxiety and fatigue management.
We work together as required to provide integrated treatment plans combining both disciplines for comprehensive rehabilitation and maximum independence.
We treat a wide range of conditions supported by the extensive experience held by the team. Some of these include joint or muscle pain, falls, mobility or balance issues, Parkinson's Disease, stroke rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Treatment is tailored to provide safe and high quality care at home.
Absolutely! We support local care homes with regular physio & occupational therapy services providing on-site assessments and ongoing treatment for residents.
We also offer workshops, talks and exercise classes.
Our team provides comprehensive assessments and ongoing treatment for residents in care homes. We work closely with care home staff and families to support mobility, reduce falls risk and help residents maintain independence and confidence with activities.
